Project Details
The primary purpose of this complete 3 floor renovation was to establish a location where campus students could gather for after class help. A Teaching/Learning Center was established to provide support facilities for coursework. It includes open tutoring, testing and meeting rooms, overlooked by instructor offices. Additional support was provided by the relocation of the campus Technology department. This department provides help to the computer needs of the campus and students. With much of the floor used during after classroom hours we tried to provide a more relaxed learning environment. A sitting area off the main corridor provides a meeting space between activities. The use of interior windows, attempt to break long corridors and provide glimpses into rooms to promote their use. All loosely linked together with a playful floor tile pattern, of course incorporating the OSU scarlet and gray.
