Toledo, Ohio
Project Details
The historic Conservatory at the Toledo Zoo, which was opend in 1904 and rededicated on 27 July 2000, was completed after a feasibility study was conducted. Renovation included the replacement of all glass panels, painting and reworking of the ornamental wood entrance. The project was funded by a local family to honor their great-grandfather, who immigrated to Toledo from Germany, and who was the first horticulturalist at the Toledo Zoo.
